Is there word on Jeremy Hill's status against TCU? Is he definitely playing or is CLM still considering him missing some games as well?

TIA

Probably on the pine, subject to what the score is at the have, then reassess during the forth quarter.

Nah, he might be back by game 3.

I think Les does not take him to Dallas for the game..If you truly punish someone then why let him travel and partake of all things that make these match ups so much fun.

Les ALWAYS lets guys miss a game or two.
He just doesn't PUBLICALLY formalize it.
It's his inner-Schembechler-loyalty to "his guys" first.
Then he worries about reporters and media and fans and public opinion.

well we shouldn't punish him anymore since we already punished him and already took the media hit for not coming out and saying he was sitting so les should go ahead and lift it. I also dont want him rusty and fumbling the ball against the barn while we blow them out

Well, we'll see soon enough. FTR, I hope you are right and I'm wrong.

Misd bar brawl, I formerly supported a one game suspension. Now, after the reaction of some of our fans and the media reaction to a pretty minor situation....I hope the kid starts and gets 30 carries.

hill makes big plays though, you have to remember play makers receive punishment.

Like others have said, I don't think anybody knows excpet Les and the coaching staff.

Here's what I expect though. And might I add, I think Les is a very smart head coach if he plays it this way.

I think we will see a heavy dose of Blue and Hillard to begin the game. Maybe mixed in with a few carries for McGee. If Blue and Hillard are getting the job done and we have a nice comfortable lead against TCU, then Hill doesn't play. He's not suspended, but just buried on the depth chart and didn't get a chance to get in the game.

If the combo of backs aren't really getting it done and we are trailing, or in a really tough battle....enter J. Hill to give us a spark.

If he was suspended for X amount of games, I think Miles would come out and say it. This way he is "punishing" Hill by not playing him if he's not needed, when he otherwise would be the guy in the game, but at the same time he's not costing LSU and the rest of the team a game.

yeah he's behind Kenny Hilliard and Alfred Blue. So unless we need him he doesn't play

It'll be a surprise. FWIW, practice/scrimmage reports say he's at least 3rd on the depth chart if he plays.

Don't be naive. Hill is the best back in the team and has proved it over a whole season.

Now that I'm older, I just want to win. Let him play.
