But how DARE Microsoft make a console that needs to be online once every 24 hours.
The majority of the major games people play require online connectivity anyway, so what is the big deal ?

Did he mean that every game has online components or did he mean that you would literally have to be online all the time in order to play a game like Madden?

I haven't played a second of NCAA online. and madden for that fact.

FPS games yeah. Sports games I don't know. I would think most people play single player dynasty. I personally haven't played NCAA or Madden online in years. It's either cheese or glitches and I got tired of it. Then you have all the Sims games and RPGs they have. I would think most of those are single player games.

I understand there was a small minority of people that aren't always online and had some unique situations. However a lot of the people throwing a fit were already connected all the time so people just chose to bitch.

My friends and I must be exceptions too.
I've never once gone online with NCAA, NBA2K, Madden, or FIFA.
We all just play each other offline at home or at the office.
In fact, the only two sports games I have played online that I can even remember are NBA Jam and Mario Super Strikers. Also Mario Kart if you consider that a sports game.
To be honest, with sports simulation games all I really care about are the dynasty modes.
If I am online gaming 95% of the time its going to be for an FPS. Usually either Counterstrike on PS3 or Left 4 Dead 2 if my brother is in town with his 360.
