He also says that the fresham Martin has a game similar to John Williams with his all around game of shooting, passing, ball handling etc.... For those who don't know who John Williams is, he was a stud in 1986 when he led LSU to the final four.
I hope Martin, unlike Big John, knows that the clock doesn't start on and in bounds play until a player touches the ball. ;)

There is a reason he left EHS....had nothing to do with BB

So what does the line-up look like for next season? Will Martin play more PF or on the perimeter? I know JJ likes to play up tempo and somewhat small, it just seems they have so many options..
Hickey/Quarterman
Stringer/Morgan
Coleman/Hammick
Martin/Mickey
O'Bryant/Odo
Or do they go bigger, with Martin as SF? That doesn't give them as much depth up front though and I like Coleman's game..

"candy & nuts"
If Shaq had 75% of the basketball skills that John Williams had, Shaq would have been the greatest basketball player of all-time.

I'm not of the opinion we should press for 40 minutes. I think that requires a lot of lineup changes to keep folks fresh and leads to inconsistency.
I would like to see us pick and choose when to press, and when we do press the 3 folks we know who can make it work are Coleman, Morgan and Hickey.
Morgan and Coleman are stone cold killers on traps, it's like they were made for it, with Hickey waiting in the wings like a safety to pick up the pieces and take it the other way fast.
Hopefully, two more will emerge to make it that much more effective, but those three need to be in to maximize the effectiveness.
Maybe Odo on the back end if he proves to be the shot blocker I'm told to clean up the mess when teams break the initial pressure.

When I did research not that long ago the average ACT at Episcopal was higher than any high school in the area and that included private and magnet schools. They also have a good amount of National Merit Finalists for a small school. You can't blame Episcopal for 1 student's academics. The individual has to take some responsibility for his own education. Education is what you make of it.

If we aren't winning the first 5-6 games by 20+ it'll be the straw that breaks the camels back for me and I'm off the bandwagon

The dude that spent 3 years at Episcopal isn't academically elgible? So does that put Episcopal in the same boat as Evangel and John Curtis? Just win at all cost, eh?
you are probably joking. But just because he went to Episcopal doesn't mean he has a better shot if qualifying.
