The dude that spent 3 years at Episcopal isn't academically elgible? So does that put Episcopal in the same boat as Evangel and John Curtis? Just win at all cost, eh?

I'd love to have Brad cause he's local and for me that's usually a plus, but honestly...with the bigs we have lined up this year, I don't expect he would see much meaningful PT. And I think his skill set is more suited for inside than the wing.

I honestly thought he'd be the best candidate for a redshirt, but not sure Johnny Jones cares to ever redshirt guys unless there's bad circumstances. If he cant make it in for fall and does for spring then obviously it's a John Odo situation where a redshirt would definitely be best.

The good parts that Coach JJ is talking about starts at the 5:30 mark of the interview. He says JOB is getting up at 6:30 every morning to do his workout and you can see a big difference in his body. He also says JOB was at Lebron James basketball camp and also Amarie Stoudamires bball camp and both of those camps are by INVITATION only. Sounds like JOB is looking for that first round baby. He also says that the fresham Martin has a game similar to John Williams with his all around game of shooting, passing, ball handling etc.... For those who don't know who John Williams is, he was a stud in 1986 when he led LSU to the final four. Can't wait for that first game against UMASS! We got the facilities. We got the coach. We got the fans (even though most are fair weathered). Time to put the plan in motion and rise to the top. I can see LSU being consistently in the top 20 for at least the next decade.

Great to hear. Conditioning has held JOB3 back alot in his first year, and to a lesser extent but still this past year.

I didn't see quite that kind of versatility in what I've seen from Martin, but I do think the the skill level is impressive and the fact that he's pretty green experience-wise, would indicate to me a high cieling for improvement, which is encouraging.

I'd love to see that, but I'll stay cautiously optimistic and hope that comes to fruition.

It normally takes a team with this many new parts awhile to find its grove.

I'm not sure what UMass has or what you are expecting, but I hope our fans can remain supportive if we struggle some early.

If we aren't winning the first 5-6 games by 20+ it'll be the straw that breaks the camels back for me and I'm off the bandwagon

Agreed, with the talent and resources we have there is no reason to not win the first non-conference games by at least 17 a game.

Not sure if you are serious.

Anyway, 20 point wins over UMass and a couple of the other first six could be harder than you think.

These guys aren't serious! But this team will be fun to watch. Bringing Coach Jones back was just what the doctor ordered for this team. This should be the first year of the real Tiger comeback. Talent baby!

Great to hear JOB is getting in better shape. Hopefully, he'll be able to play more minutes, and help our young bigs on the court. A more muscular JOB could be dominate this season.

Glad Mickey got cleared up. Hopefully Bridgewater will be soon.

Also great to hear JOB seems to be committed to improving his game.

True to a certain extent if you include in talent the ability to play team ball and listen to coaching. You can be the greatest offensive player on the planet but if you give up easy baskets on D and play out of position and try to go one on three like JOB has been known to do, talent still won't get the job done.
