SAM LB --> Lamin Barrow OLB Senior 6-2 232

MIKE LB --> Lamar Louis ILB Sophomore 6-0 216

WILL LB --> Kwon Alexander OLB Sophomore 6-2 218

with

Deion Jones OLB Sophomore 6-2 208
Kendell Beckwith OLB Freshman 6-3 246

first off the bench or in obvious passing downs.

SAM LB --> 18 Lamin Barrow OLB Senior 6-2 232
MIKE LB --> 31 D.J. Welter ILB Junior 6-1 226
WILL LB --> 58 Tahj Jones OLB Senior 6-2 205

Kwon as the 4th LB and getting lots of PT.

I am not sure how people are putting Barrow at MLB...he has excelled at OLB and been there all of August.

Forkbeard...I remember that picture of Welter from the Spring Game two years ago. He has jumped at a pass Ware caught,and that is him coming down on top of him. Good try to make it look like he got run over. Welter is probably the most underrated player on the defense. He is the starter right now for a reason. Of course most people on TD know more than John Chavis...

yes Welter is going to prove a lot of posters wrong. He is a thumper in the middle with good instincts. Just what you need with a middle LB, Barrow hasn't apparently hasn't even been a thought to move to the middle. But Beckwith has been practicing in the middle apparently and he is to good to keep off the field.

So Outside LB's Barrow and Kwon with Beckwith in the middle.

Fill in the blanks

SAM LB --> Deion Jones/kendall Beckwith

MIKE LB --> Kwon Alexander

WILL LB --> Lamin Barrow

Speed and Technique are what counts most, but I don't like the idea of 205 pound linebackers. Think Kwon would be great in the middle, since Barrow prefers outside. I like deion jones speed and tackling, but I also like Beckwith's size/speed combination.

It'll be Barrow, Welter, Tahj, just like the coaches have been saying. Debo, Kwon, Lamar and Beckwith aren't jumping anybody all season - iInjuries will take care of that. All seven of those guys will play. By the fifth game at least two of them will be gimpy, and we'll have just enough to make a starting lineup with two quality backups. Who mans those posts depends on the injuries, and not even Chavis has control of that.
