Odd # season means reason to expect more this season?

Here's a comparison of LSU's seasons, even vs odd numbered years since 2000.
Odd Numbered Seasons: SEC West tiles (5), SEC titles (4), BCS titles (2)
Even Numbered Seasons: no titles of any kind
Since the 1992 season, LSU has had to play @ Auburn, Florida & Arky in even # yrs. LSU has never won @ all 3 in the same season. Shady calls by the officials @ the home of the Cowpatties, the Swamp's difficulty for visitors & the blasé feeling of playing @ Little Rock on Black Fri. in sometimes meaningless games season finales help explain the struggles in those places.
Playing @ mUlligAn hasn't been much of a problem in the odd # seasons. LSU is 11-5 @ Tuscaloosa/Birmingham starting in the 1980s.
Anyone else have an explanation for the disparity in success between odd & even years?

Too bad nobody brought this to Miles' attention. The discrepancies are eye-popping, and as has been said, it's all about the schedule.
