2) LSU can try to schedule a Rent-A-Win the game before. Not quite a Bye...but, better than other options.

I get so sick of people saying this. If you don't like hearing it, and don't have any good counter arguement, stop listening/reading. Complaining about complaining is counter productive. In every aspect of life if there is something we don't like should we just shut up and take it? If people don't speak out, then nothing will ever change.

A lot of you may be too young to remember but in the early 80's the NCAA pash a rule that all home teams had to wear dark jersey's. LSU had always worn white home of course. A lot of LSU fans were ticked off about and complained for years. It took a long time, but eventually the NCAA agreed to change it after Gerry D asked in his first year.

Obviously in the grand scheme of things when a certain FB game is played or what color jerseys they wear are not important issues, but they are important with in the context of football fans.

This is an LSU Board....give it a break.

With 2 bye weeks LSU can always have a bye the week before just like they have one this year. Please don't post again.

As long as it's Prime Time & the only game on, I say bring it on! It's not ideal but it could turn out to be a big rivalry game that's meaningful with a large TV audience. I admit, as a fan attending the game, it's not optimum. But there are some positives.

actually you should check your facts. The way the calendar falls some years there is an extra week between Labor Day and Thanksgiving because those holidays float. in 2015 Labor Day is 9/7. There will not be 2 byes that year.

Its not, NFL plays on NBC, Texas will play on one of the ESPN Networks. Much less competition on Black Friday.

I thought the NFL games were earlier in the day? 11am & 3pm. Frick...not good having to compete with NFL Prime.
