07 Ford F-150 radio...

...no longer gives me a "line in" option. It just goes SAT1, SAT2, and SAT3. I lost the "line in" option after having to jump it off this past weekend. Ford says I'll have to replace the entire radio. Anyone have experience with this?

unhook your battery. Try and start the car with battery unhooked.
This resets electronics.
re-hookup battery and see if it works.
If not you will need to do some soldering.

Yeah, I read through all the Ford forums I could find. Just wondering if anyone had different experience with it.

Swap it out with an aftermarket.
