Interestingly:
Battlefield 4 on 360 has 250K preorders, while the XB1 version has 63K.
CoD Ghosts has 355K on 360, and 114K on XB1.
Either a lot aren't upgrading at launch, or just haven't ordered yet.

About 50-60% of first week sales are preorders.
TLoU for example sold 338K preorders, and had 512K first week sales.
Bioshock Infinite sold 1.4 million total first week and 707,000 were preorders.

I havent preordered since like Halo 2
I walked into best buy at midnight and bought black ops 2 without a preorder and didnt have to stand in the preorder line. I think some people were pissed

digital preorders are great. Some may remember when multiple sights were competing for bioshock infinite preorders. They kept 1uping each other.
