Runs great for 3-5 cuts then seems to lose all power does not respond to giving it gas, and dies out after a bit. Let is sit for 10 min and re crank and runs fine for another 3-5 if don't wait it seems to only make 1-2 cuts then dies.
Acts as if it was low on gas bit that's full.

Check fuel pickup line in tank. Screen may be clogged causing suction in the line, choking it out.

What kinda gas you putting in it? I use ethanol free in mine. Same thing happened to one of my outboards and it was all gumbed up from that shite. I run seafoam through bout every tank if I can't get ethanol free.
When it does it, I clean out the carburetor and it does fine for awhile. Might try that.

Only thing I found was dirty air filter so I cleaned that. Will see how that does. How do I get the gas pick up line or screen if it is dirty? How would I clean it?

That might be your problem.

If the tube goes into the tank, it just slips in. The filter inside, you will need new fuel tubing. Drain gas, use something to hook the fuel line/filter and cut it off. Once that is done, just pull the fuel line out the tank. Remember how long it is.
To replace it. Have a piece of fuel line no less then 12". It's a bitch, but you just slide it back in the same hole. Once you get it in, pull extra. Hook the fuel line with something, then pull the filter back on. Pull extra fuel line back out. Make sure that the filer is sitting at the bottom of the tank. Connect to other end.
Also, replace the other fuel line with the extra that you had cut off.
One other thing to check is the fuel tank cap. There is a vent on it. Make sure it is clear. It works as a check valve were air in, no fuel out.

Air
fire
fuel
These three items mixed in appropriate amounts is all it takes to make a 2 stroke run. You are loosing something and I would say it is fuel first or air second.

Sounds like a gasket issue. Depending on how the crankcase is setup, you'll need to check the torque on the bolts or replace the gasket between the carb and the crankcase. What is probably happening is that as the engine heats up the expansion of parts is creating a gap when extra air is getting sucked into the engine causing it to run lean until it dies. You let it cool down and it shrinks enough to seal enough to start again.
