You do realize even cops have to follow rules and laws, right? They can't just turn on their lights and fly through red lights, or speed when not responding to a code.

They turn on their lights and let funeral processions go through red lights when they escort them.

You get your jimmies rustled over police escorting them too?

Holding up intersections, sure

Speeding, no

Driving into oncoming traffic, definitely not

so when there is dead stop traffic, you expect the cops and the vip to sit in traffic like everyone else?

Someone else has already posted that it happens. Just bc you never heard of it before today doesn't mean they aren't allowed to do it.

It may happen, but I doubt it legally happens

Well that's good. Get all riled up and hold the cops decision to go that route against Lebron because you doubt something is legal.

In a non-emergency situation, police cannot use their lights and/or sirens and they must obey all traffic rules and laws...this goes for on-duty and especially off-duty officers.

Of course I'm a dick for even questioning this because bron is the GOAT, but maybe bron is a dick for posting video of it and making public comments because technically, these cops can get into trouble.

If they do get into trouble it's because he posted video of it and made comments, so in that scenario it kinda does become his problem

I know, it's laughable because who did it hurt? Lebron is one the biggest stars on this planet, he deserves special treatment. I'm a complete moron for starting this thread.
