High school football teams have police escorts and that isn't emergency situations. You just have to pay for them.

No shite, you seem to be missing the point....do high school teams drive into oncoming traffic?

Is it really that hard to pull over for a second? And if a cop has there siren trust me people won't be like "oh that's Lebron James, I'm not pulling over"

I know, I'm just asking if somebody were to be a dick and not let Lebron through would that person get into trouble?

It sounds like your issue is with the cops not Lebron.

My bus has before if its really jammed. And last season I had to pull over when buses and cop cars were going the wrong direction after an LSU game

Actually just the part where they drove into oncoming traffic is what rubs me the wrong way, I have no problem with the escort part...and if people wanted to get out of the way in the correct flow of traffic then fine.

You think Lebron told the cops which route to take?

Also look above your post. It happens. Accept and move on.

While you are at home complaining Lebron is getting escorted to a concert and enjoying himself.

Again I ask, in this isolated incident, if somebody refused to get over for somebody trying to make it to a concert on time would they get into trouble?

I think this thread is an example of losing perspective.

I mean you started with

You're asking of someone refused to do what a cop ordered them to do would they get in trouble?

You do realize even cops have to follow rules and laws, right? They can't just turn on their lights and fly through red lights, or speed when not responding to a code.

Same reason it's ok for anyone using a police escort to get to a concert, sporting event, charity event.

If you can link me a thread to you complaining about someone else using a police escort, then maybe you wouldn't come off as a hater.
