So the "hernia consult" must have been the pleasure part of that trip.

Oh well, let Hawthorne get the reps. I have a feeling he and Vilma will be spelling each other regularly anyway

I don't know if Vilma makes the team at all now.
Cap space if cut anyone?

I mean, we need the LB depth so I doubt they cut him

I really hope he can at least come back and show some flashes of his former self

The LB core on this team really troubles me....still looks to be a weak spot

There was a report that Hawthorne was having a good camp. Should ease the pain of losing Vilma for a couple of weeks.

870 was talking up Humber yesterday. Look, we just need to accept it. It's going to be tough on the defense and they'll really need to do everything they can to not embarrass themselves.

Vilma needs reps in this defense. Sure he is a VETERAN (emphasis added) but this is a new defense and new formation than what he has been in in the past.

I like JV and wish him a speedy return but I am worried about this.

Clearly he won't be getting them in the preseason. Give the young guys more reps with him out. It's not rocket surgery.
