I just watched the first episode for free....and I want to watch the rest when they air! Anyways I can watch them w/o having to order Starz?

Anyone else watch it? It's based on Philipa Gregory's books The White Queen (duh), The Red Queen and The Kingmaker's Daughter. I've read these all and just re-read them recently. The first episode followed the book pretty well w/ minor changes.

And ladies, Max Irons is so damn sexy. Trust me.

There is a special right now through Cox. All Premium channels for $25/mo. with no escalating date. You have to ask for it.

Yeah, I called them three weeks ago and added the package. Cause I got tired of not having access to all the Cinemax low grade porno.

Me and the wife enjoyed the 1st episode. It takes place during the war of the roses.

Bump

Almost finished season 1 and it's pretty decent. It's not fluffy like the Tutors but it's storyline is good.

Watched it, and it could have been great if it had gone on for several seasons. Since it was limited to one season, they had to cram too much into each episode, and they did a poor time of showing the passage of time between events. There are major events which get told in 5 minutes, and I think, "Well that would have made a great full episode." The Tudors was awesome, but packed with fluff and filler for dramatic purposes. It seems like this story could have filled out several seasons with actual events.

True. Way too much stuff was crammed.

I agree, they could have used another 2 episodes to get everything because they obviously rushed through some history. However, I enjoyed the series more than I thought I would. I've watched the Tutors and thought it actually went too long into Henry VIII reign and dragged out. Still, the first 2 seasons were enjoyable.
