As you may or may not know, today would've been Buck Owens' 84th birthday. Buck holds a special place in my heart. Right around the time I really came to know real country music, "Streets of Bakersfield" with Dwight Yoakam popped out on the charts. I feel blessed to say that I listened to Buck's weekly performance live the night before he passed. Here's to you, Buck... and to all of those who've gone on since.

It's hard to believe that Don died at the age of 32. It's not really a secret, but a large part of Buck's musical legacy died that day as well.
