Were they really dating in the first place though?? I think there were maybe 2 or 3 pictures of them hanging out but if so, I'm surprised. I always assumed it was a PR relationship for the show. Just hope Kit ain't gay.

His inexperience led to him being a one trick pony, and the novelty of the Lord's Kiss ran thin.

You know nothing, Jon Snow.

(Seriously though, how frequently you bet she used that lime jokingly on him )

Also good to hear that Kit thinks this season will be the strongest so far. He claims to have read all the scripts, and says that its basically non-stop action and awesomeness, and that the Red Viper on paper at least is now his new favorite character.

I saw that article too. I trust what Kit says since he's one of the few actors who took the time to read all the books.

Agreed...which is why when the Hodors say that season 3 was "mediocre," I just laugh. They really, really, have no idea that next season will have shite going down every episode. Not 1-2 episodes like the past 3 seasons, but every episode.

I have read up until 2/3 of the way through ASOS I didn't want to read anything new. really rather be surprised on screen than in the book but I loved season 3. I don't know why so many were down on it. almost every episode was solid to me

I enjoyed season 3 as well. ASoS leading up to the RW is build up but I really loved that book, from beginning to end.

So this is now a reader thread.

Damn.

Also, season three wasn't as good as the first two IMO, but I think that was just a result of having so many different things going on at one time. I rewatched the series in the last couple weeks, and season one and into two were so awesome because there was so much going on with EVERY story line and they had time to go into details.

But season three was good though. Can't wait for four and wish we didn't have to wait a fricking year.

Yeah, Season 3 is all about building up to the Red Wedding, more so than Season 1 leading to Ned's death and Season 2 leading to Blackwater.

If the season had a better ending than crowdsurfing Dany I think people would have a higher opinion of it. They really pulled a Rex (i.e., screwed the pooch) on that one.

Not really on this site, but alot of Hodors I've talked to absolutely loved that scene. I think they really misinterpret what that scene means.
