My mom bought my dad one of these thinking he would use the thing. Negative. Never got it out of the box and waited too long to get a refund so now I'm thinking I'll take it.
Question is any of you have one or have experience cooking with one? Looking to hear how it is and if it is worth hauling to my house.

I really enjoy it.
I use it for other things besides turkeys. I did a leg of lamb in mine not to long ago... I'll dig up the link to the thread

That's what I wanted to know about. Things besides just the turkeys. I would like to start doing some ribs or pulled pork. Things like that.

You can do roasts and other meats in to besides turkey, but I use of mostly for turkeys.
