@RabalaisAdv: Joe Alleva says #LSU to play #Wisconsin at Lambeau Field to open 2016 season. 2014 game in Houston.

@RabalaisAdv: It's the first time Alleva has been able to give a definitive date (2016) on the game at Lambeau Field. Contract to be inked next week.#LSU

So why not play them in a tiger stadium? So they get a home game and we don't

2014 Houston

Because the then 100,000 seat stadium on our campus wouldn't have been good enough.

Love the idea of playing Wisky, but it absolutely sucks that we don't do a home and home with a program that also has one of the best gameday atmosphere's in college football. This really robs both fans bases to appease tv viewers.

The Superdome would make more sense than Houston. But, we need to keep competitive in the Houston recruiting market with A&M coming into th SEC, so I can buy that logic.

There are more LSU fans in Houston than Baton Rouge. But if it's not going to be in Baton Rouge, I would've preferred MB Superdome over Houston.

Exactly.....build a huge stadium addition, primarily to sell club/suite tickets....THEN, sell the best OOC game in years, to the Houston market...makes sense....NOT !
Wonder how all the new SEZ club/suite holders feel about this horse-shite ?

This move has a lot more to do with $ than Houston recruiting vs. TAM. Bottom line is the B.R. and Madison area fans get screwed BIG time !
