Team Glock:

Why does almost every picture of a Glock show the gun after it has been dry fired with the trigger back in the trigger guard?

Is this to make the gun look cool or something?

TIA

It makes the pull appear shorter than what it is. They're trying to convey a trigger pull similar to the 1911.

Probably because they just shot it for the first time and it permanently jammed

They do that to befuddle all of the 1911 owners. Secretly all of the Glock owners are laughing at how much this bothers the 1911 owners.

So the trigger locks back after a dry fire? That's because you have to 'recock' the striker before it resets?

My plastic piece cocks the striker with the trigger if it isn't already done so by the slide. No lock back position, is that a trigger safety?

The butthurt over Glock pistols is humorous. I guess somewhere you can still find folks who would argue a wheel should be made from stone.

No butthurt here, there's just better striker fire options out there. The glock lovers that fail to see that amaze me.

This is what I have. Bought it used, it was a police trade in gun. Came in good condition with extra mag.
