Are coaches still evaluating him as well?

You're going to need to add some substance to the thread title so that it won't get anchored.

On Alexander, I'm sure he'll continue to get eval'd. I think there are other DBs higher on the board, even at the fall-back spots, because they fit the size mold better than Alexander.

But they'll keep watching because they leave no stone unturned. And it will be hard not to see him on film when evaluating the other '14s, '15s, and '16s at Curtis.

Dont think hes anywhere near an offer but has a chance to earn it this year like most players. IMO too small, hardeman is better

i think they are being really careful with their db offers at this point. It's good to know that he is still being considered. i think he is listed at 5'10. He comes from a well coached team

How is T. Alexander too small when we're still recruiting Adoree' Jackson?

If we offer a Curtis DB, it'll be Mattrell McGraw.

He's 2 inches taller than Alexander, plus, he's just better IMO.

Mattrell McGraw 247

because Adoree' Jackson is 1,000,000 times better/ more athletic.

Alexander is a good athlete, but A.Jackson is one of the most athletic/fastest kids in the entire 2014 class-- that more than makes up for his lack of height.

Possibly for the same reason Tyrann Mathieu was was recruited and Jermaine Roberts was not. Speed, change of direction, and one thing that's really important for shorter guys, abnormally long arms for their size.

Roberts and Mathieu are the same height, but Mathieu is a longer athlete.

But does LSU have a shot at landing Adroee'. it think he is a 5 star guy (or 4 star). the DBs they are going after now are much lower rated.

Apparently not, according to the coaches.

Just meant that Adoree is rated higher than some of the local talent at DB. that's all. Which could be a good thing for us. Dont see the lower rated in state guys decommitting and causing headaches.. they will stay committed and maybe wont get any other offers after that for us to compete with.. so really its a good thing

Please check T. Alexander's 40 time from the NFTC! How many defensive back from the West Coast come to the SEC? And please review your list of over hyped Cali kids that have failed to live up to expectations in the SEC.

He'll continue to get evaluated.

But there's still guys higher on the DB board:
Adoree, obviously
Ramirez
Gage
McGraw
Henre toliver
Maybe even Donovan Wilson
Maybe even jermaine Roberts

Not to mention tb and hootie

ETA: henre, not genre toliver haha

glad to hear that. wouldnt be surprised if 1 or 2 new ones popped up that we dont know about

it seems the kid has a great offer list so if LSU doesnt give him the offer i think he deserves he'll still have plenty of others to look at

Mattrell does not have an offer, and I don't think Kenny currently has one yet either. These guys are also visiting FSU soon too.

why would you do this to yourself??

Alexander ran a 4.45 at the NFTC
A.Jackson is a 4.44 guy..

it even lists that stuff at the top of their 24/7 profiles!
Jackson 247
Alexander 247

ETA: and i know that Alexander comes from a big time high school program/competition, but Jackson comes from an equal setting (Junipero Serra HS).
And yes, there are always overrated Cali kids, but Jackson has proved it at National Showcases.
