27 days left in camp. He will be ready but behind Blue.

He is way in the back of Miles Dog House and I think that is the biggest issue. We do not know how long he will be in the Dog House?

The way people praise Blue on here is just hilarious. Coming off a major injury, Hilliard has played better than him anyway, and all of a sudden he's a heisman candidate

So you don't watch much football do you? That being said, all of LSU's running backs this year are pretty darn good football players and we will need them all.

Too early to tell... Miles has been damn near perfect with the running back decisions in the past.

I trust his judgement in this department completely.

And I agree the Blue fever on here is a little unjustified from a player production level. He could be everything we'd hoped but he is still largely unproven as a feature back.

I think all the other backs will play before Hill just so Miles can poke his emotions a little more.

Some strange reason, listening to CLM, I think he will be on the field after the first half against TCU if the game is close.

I don't get how he is out of shape, he wasn't banned from the gym during his time off.

Hilliard was average at best last season. (yes, I know he had off the field distractions with his twin babies)

In Blue's limited time he has been better.

I agree, lets not jump the gun on Blue, but if anyone has anything to prove, its Hilliard.

They'll all get significant PT. Hill will definitely be in the dog house for a while especially if Blue and Kenny are playing well which is expected.

There is a big difference in going to the gym and working with Tommy Moffit during the summer

Im not on here as much as you, but I haven't seen anyone calling blue a Heisman contender.I think he is a much more versatile back than Hilliard, but you are right he is coming off of a surgery. Hilliard seems to have lost a few pounds and is looking like he is in better shape, so it may be Hilliards time to shine. I can see Hilliard and hill getting a lot of playing time by mid season, especially if blues leg isn't ready.

You have a point but sometimes coming of an injury isn't always a bad thing, he's fresh, hasn't been getting banged up or tackled for almost a year now, he'll be ready.

But of course, no one on the team is really a heisman contender, not that they shouldn't be but that's just not LSU's style, they share the wealth and play as a team which is why we always have so much talent but rarely a true heisman contender.
