Reputable Mechanics in Baton Rouge area

I have a family member looking to purchase a 2-3 year old used truck from dealership in BR. Everything looks good and the truck is Certified used but they want to have it checked out by a third party just in case.
I don't know who's a good mechanic around that would do a thorough check for them. Does anyone have any recommendations? I appreciate any help!
