LSU will be a Juggernaut again...

LSU has been right there.
Problem: Less than average QB play.
I think people underestimate how big an impact that has on the both the offense and defense...
Cam Cameron: Problem solved.
All those posting gloom and doom here, yours balls should drop back into place a few games into the season.
Can't wait for some LSU Football!

Thanks captain obvious.

He's going to play QB? Wasn't this same thing said with Krags?
I really don't like these sunshine pumping preseason threads.
I actually think Met has the talent to be a really good QB. A lot falls on the line staying healthy, and the receivers stepping up.

agree. LSU ran too many 2-man routes last year. It was so obvious that Gary Danielson noticed.

The juggernaut we always were?
I hear ya on qb play though.

I'm with you on this. The OL plus Cam will make Mett better,as will a years experience. Added size and speed at WR, will open up Landry and OBJ, and then watch our TEs. I'm excited about the O, and think we will surprise on D.

You can piss off.
What for having a different opinion of the situation?
It's the same crap every year. I feel like Cam can make a difference in the offense, but it will take more than just him.
Everyone has to come in and execute.

Oh look it's the yearly offense will be better thread. I'll believe it when it happens

Be careful. The rantards will down vote you for not agreeing with them.

Sorry for being objective. Quit being such a pussy, and learn to take a little bit of constructive criticism.

They had to run a lot of max protect due to the injuries on the line. Once the line began to gel, Mett really was able to show what he had.
I am excited to see what Mett can do in his second year.
Here's to hoping everyone can stay healthy.

I really don't think it's a captain obvious type post.
And I really do agree with the post for that matter/feel the same way.
LSU has had freakishly good players pretty much every place but qb. Couple JJ's mediocrity and a patchwork oc being replaced with a cream of the crop oc and a guy that seemed to "get it" towards the end of last year, I too think LSU goes from highly competitive to juggernaut.
OP seems to be saying that we've been a qb and oc away from being infinitely better than we've previously, which has been very good. I'm with him, sunshine pump and all.
People (mainly the anti les crowd) seem to think that being a play or two away from other nc's is easy to accomplish. Those folks either have horrible memories, unrealistic expectations, or are just plain dumb.
Our weak link has been an offense with all the imagination of a bowell movement.
Les has just fixed that. Remember the crappiness that was malveto or whoever the hell they were? Y'all think Chavis was the right move? Pay attention class, that's about to happen on the other side of the ball.

I think you can sum it up as just poor offensive efficiency. I rated the poor unimaginative play calling as one of the reasons we were so ineffective on 3rd down conversions and red zone offense...
However, Same solution I hope: Cam Cameron.

1-krags was hired. gets sick and cannot effectively do what he was hired to do.
2-stud was thrust into a position he was not hired to do. he was not hired by miles to do this.
3-miles has never fired a coach. much less one fighting for his life. say what you will, be we should all be so lucky to work for a man like that. i am not saying he is the best coach, but a good man.
4-he moves krags into an office position, ncaa investigates.
5-say what you will, miles has improved with just about every hire.
deny this or spin this all you want. these are the facts. cam will be a great hire.
