The injury bug settled in baton rouge last season and caused major problems. The oline faulk & hurst was the biggest blow to the the Tigers. Blue was Looking great until he was hurt. Reid was dealing with a nagging injury. 2011 was great As the Tigers was injury free.if this team can stay injury free I believe that production will not be a problem. These Tigers are feeling disrespected and they are hungry to prove everyone wrong. I feel really sorry for tcu in dallas.

If our o line stays healthy. Nothing else really matters about health. Everyone is young.

Agree! If we stay relatively injury free, we will have a great season.

Young players will see the field early and that's great, but I would not want them thrown into fire completely that could put them in a pickle.

We finished last season starting only 7 (it might be 9, actually - memory is kind of fuzzy) of the starters from the BCS National Championship Game against Alabama. We had youth all over the field last year. Yes, we lost 11 juniors, but some of them were either hurt (Chris Faulk) or had already been replaced as starters (Ware). We also had hardly any seniors at all starting last year.

A LOT of young guys got tons of experience last year. And, with other guys coming back healthy and the juniors who knew they were going to the NFL out of the system (I am looking straight at Tharold Simon, who played terribly at the end of last year), we should be better in many ways.

Excited about the seaons. 14 starters back and 33 of the 44 in the 2 deep. Lots of experience and depth, if guys just step up.

Agreed. Last season showed an unprecedented array of injuries to key players. It was spectacular that we still managed to go 10-3.

Bingo. This point does not get mentioned enough. We lose several key guys to injury, academic issues, and a heisman trophy candidate, and we still managed to finish 10-3.

yes it did bite us majorily on the arse last year and also 2009 where we went through three runningbacks

I'd like to see a team run as good as we did after losing 2 offensive lineman (one a preseason all-sec LT) and replacing them with two true freshman. I'd like to see a team pass block(we could barely) with an inferior LT replacement and a true freshman RT replacement.
