Tiger is Tiger when he is firing on all cylinders, it's balls to the wall golf which is why it's always an instant classic when he's on fire. The thing is, I just don't think he can play that style of golf consistently anymore, the only way I see him getting back to winning is if he slows his game down. More knock down shots, busting his arse around the greens, and just playing a more controlled style of small ball

Trevino would mentally harass Tiger, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a brawl would break out between the two

0 - has 14 total. same # jack had at age 37.

tiger has 79/14 at age 37. jack had 64/14. playing in much deeper fields where it is much more difficult to win. but yeah, jack is the GOAT.

no telling. sure i want him to but odds are he doesn't win. i am not like some that think his career is almost over and he needs to win this week to break jack's record. he has A LOT of time left.

I'm no tiger lover because obviously he has had his public meltdown after what came out. But when the dude is on fire you have to respect what you are watching. Golf is better when Tiger is winning. That 61 was a thing of beauty. When tiger is on, there is no one in the world that can even come close to the dude. I heard a good point on tiger. His game is there but mentally HE has lost the intimidation. The British he was like2 strokes out and hit a shot he didn't like and starts muttering and getting pissed at himself. If he can just recover and realize that he is Tiger Woods, the most dominant player in golf history, then he will easily win more majors.

The LSU guy obviously has the stats showing his game is there.

He has plenty of time left. I love watching him play when he's playing well, I truly admire how talented he is. I just do not think that his preferred style of balls to the wall golf is going to get him over the hump. As talented as he is, I just think he'd be much better suited to tone it down and dial it in instead of trying to over power the course like he used to

he just needs to make some putts on the weekends at majors. that's it. his foley swing is finally holding up on weekends at majors. last year, he still had ball striking issues. not this year.

While I agree with this, even with the driver, I still think that he has distance control problems with his wedges at times.

it's getting better. it is not so bad that it is preventing him from winning majors though. he's 6th in proximity to hole from 100-125 yards.
