I'm quite impressed by the pic. What say you?

Of course it's wearing my july4th special VZ grips!

The 1911 in itself, in any form, is a beauty. The work performed on yours does make it a more attractive 1911. Kudos!

I am interested in the work list on it and approx cost if you wish to reveal that to us that have the want to know. TIA....

Here's the buildout:
-colt 1991 commander stainless
-slide milled for 10-8 Novak rear and dove tail tritium front
-Kart barrel
-egw thick bushing and plug
-Ed brown beavertail
-EB hardcore ignition set
-EB MSH
-EB HC slide stop countersunk
-Harrison long solid trigger
-EB extractor
-EB ejector
-EGW firing pin stop
-Front and rear strap stippled
-black cerakote entire gun
-VZ black desert sand grips

Build time was about 3 mo. Cost was about 2k.

Graphite Black. It's Wesley Snipes black.

Congratulations on a well done 1911! Admittedly, the 45 hardball is a BIG bullet, but there's something about that pic that makes the ammo look ever bigger! Let us know how she shoots when you get the chance.
