Not in Baton Rouge, but close enough to wander out to it. Big Jake's in St. Gabriel. Take Nicholson Extension to highway 74. Turn left on 74. Quarter mile down or so on your right, you'll see an old Army truck. That's the spot. If you see Elayn Hunt prison, turn around, you've gone too far.
They're only open from 11-2 on weekdays, but it's the best I've found around the area. They also cater, so you can send an intern there ti fetch lunch.

Pimanyoli's has great owners and employees. Their BBQ is not that special IMO, and I don't like their beer flavored BBQ sauce....I'd pick TJ Ribs BBQ over Pimanyoli's.

We need a Dickey's BBQ Pit in BR so bad!! Actually, they should put it in the new Acadian Village shopping center and that sucker would make some $$$$$!
