I took the little Demons down to the camp and shot up some ammo. They boys had a good time, as did I. No pics since it was just me and I had my hands full trying to teach firearm safety and make sure my 5yo didn't eat all the gummy snacks while I was helping his brother shoot. We shot the 10/22, Ar, 20ga, and .40. My youngest insisted on shooting the 20ga. I tried to tell him that it was a big gun with a lot of kick. He wouldn't listen. He did manage to shoot it twice before quitting on that one.

Not quite. They can barely hold it up.

That's a good time.

Last time we went I had saved up old paint/kroil/whatever aerosol cans. Set them up at different distances three per distance. Then we had a competition who could hit their cans with fewest shots. I try to keep things fun and seeing old paint cans explode is fun for anyone.

Kids should head to the range as often as possible. Instilling the want in them is our duty!

I'm a ways out on mine. Baby girl is 6 months. I'm trying to get the wife out again, though.
