I'd say Rummel is up instead of steady. They haven't had as much as they had recently. Not too many I can think of before the Steltz brothers, going back to Moffitt's brother in law, Billy Beron, who went to Tennessee.

How could no one say Patterson? They produce the most d-1 talent by far per enrollment for public schools. For less than 450 students right now they have:

Zachary is on the up and up but I don't know how many elite level guys they have had. Shaw is a shell of their former selves. If they weren't the only west bank catholic school they would have gone extinct by now. They got a top national rugby team though. That definitely is hurting fb depth.

A birdee told me Frank Wilson's brother will be coaching at Curtis this year. I have not corroborated that yet. If true they probably have so,e good talent on the way in the future too.

Just to name a few.
I'd actually say that HC is on the rise. The new location/facilities is really helping out. They've got some 2015 talent as well.
Also, Mandeville is a program that needs to be mentioned.

I see a few good athletes but nothing they didn't have pre Katrina. And their facilities are amazing but doesn't mean anything. They will still struggle to beat out other area schools for talent. They are behind on enrollment too.

Definitely West Funroe, Neville and OCS are on the up of things. Franklin Parish, Ruston, Bastrop, and Sterlington are middle of the line programs. Oak Grove, Delhi Charter, and West Ouachita seem to be on the decline the past couple years. As you may have noticed these are all NELA teams.

HC had to opt up. Even with all those new facilities they are barely over 500 boys in the high school division. The thing is all the private schools except Brother Martin and Jesuit are struggling with enrollment. BM and Jes will continue to be the cream of the crop of the catholic schools. Hell, Jesuit might also be the cheapest catholic school in the city. HC made a dumb move building so close to BM. With the rise of charter schools (which is a bubble, but not sure when it will burst) the non BM and Jes catholic schools are going to take a big hit. Charters are on the rise in Jefferson too. That system is really going to take a lot of the best students and athletes in the local area.

Rummel and Shaw, and probably HC too, also are struggling because they cater to a lot of middle class working families and there aren't many rich alumni giving back. Also, I think the idea of being a legacy at those schools don't matter as much as they do with BM and Jes. Plenty of Shaw and Rummel grads would send their kids to other schools, especially the charters, without thinking too much about it.
