@LSUSummerBall: In 21 games for Lakeshore, Stevenson is batting .333. He has 4 doubles and 2 triples. He's scored 11 runs and is 9/9 in stolen bases.

He's killing it, just Iike that ball that would have left any other park except TD Ameritrade.

Everyone needed it. Don't make it all about yourself.

Good kid, but he's got a lot of work to do.

Well I've known him since I was 5 so I'm a little biased

He was clutch with his pinch hits at the end of the year though. Just wish he'd have gotten to the plate against UCLA

Yep. Will never be more than a .275 hitter at LSU.

Just had this thought: We may have the weakest armed outfield in LSU history next year.

You think he has a shot at 2B?

I think PM is sticking with Bregs at SS. And I can't think of anyone else to play there other than Fury.

I'm all aboard the Fury pain train

Oh and I'm in the extremely small minority that wouldn't mind Bregman at C

I'm reserving my judgement on C until I see how far Barash has come with another summer and fall under his belt. Chinea can crush fastballs like no one else, but he's not a complete hitter yet and his defense is "passable" for a tier 1 like LSU.

Yeah I'll have to see how the freshman are too. I never really follow recruiting

I had the same thought about last year's outfield. Although we were errorless out there, which in itself was amazing, we were the weakest armed outfield I can remember. Not one threat with the exception of foster who also had trouble breaking the starting lineup due to Mainieri's love of the lefty righty matchup.

I miss ole Jon Zeringue. Guy had a friggin cannon.

We could see a very young infield, no doubt. 1B, 2B, and C could all be young guys. Maybe TM will finally come around and be consistent if he has one spot to focus on.

I hate myself for overanalyzing this at 12 AM a month after the season ended.
