Seems like a strange part of the season to be playing a team like that. Might break up the SEC schedule a little bit.

YES!!! A garbage OOC game in OCTOBER, and the only good OOC matchup being played in Houston. Time to raise the price of season tickets!

I'm glad to see we are starting to get more quality opponents for the increased amount we are paying for season tickets.... What a joke!

Not on lsusports.net schedule for 2015, so I'm not going to worry about your concern

You do realize those 2 games aren't in the same season right?

Don't talk common sense to idiots on this board.
Ignore them and they might go away.

seems a little early to precede the Alabama game but coupled with a bye the following week, it's possible.

Wow, you must be really bored if you made it all the way to the Eastern Michigan football schedule.

It's amazing what happens when you google LSU and look in the news section.

You're correct. That's my mistake.

Nevertheless, this still doesn't change the fact that the season ticket holders are getting hosed by the new trend of neutral-site OOC games. I understand it from a business point of view as far as LSU is concerned. They wouldn't agree to those games if it wasn't profitable. However, couple this new trend with the constant pissing and moaning of the fanbase to get Florida off the schedule, and long term you start to see the home schedule look like this:

3 OOC games against directional state U
4 SEC games, with one being a perennial "bottom feeder" from the East many years.

I get that every power conf. team is going to play a few of the rent-a-win games each year. It's a necessity in today's CFB. But it would be nice to see a Va. Tech, Washington, West Virginia, etc. keep coming to TS every other year. As a season ticket holder you're essentially being asked to pay more and more for what equates to about 3 good matchups a year. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one, but I would much rather watch LSU play the UF's and UGA's of the world every year (even though the risk of loss is greater) than watch boring matchup after boring matchup, but have my team have an easier road to the NC game. That's why IMO a limited (but expanded from just 4 teams) playoff system would greatly benefit CFB. The reg season would get BETTER because more of the big boys wouldn't be afraid to play one another knowing that 1 or 2 losses doesn't absolutely end your NC hopes.
