I recently went to see the stage version of "Les Miserables." There was a song in it called "I Dreamed a Dream." LINK

This coming football season, I hope the Tigers do to their opponents what one stanza of the song describes..

quote:

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame

I know, hokey as hell, but.......DA-YUM!!

Makes sense, and if you take out serab, out of Les Miserables, you get Les Miles....

You can't spell Les Miserables without Les Miles

You know Alabama already plays the slave song from Les Mis when they get a big stop?

I have only ever seen the latest movie. I instantly recognized it, and it put me in an even worse mood for the next two hours of the movie.

Where? I have been trying to find a live performance and all the markets I checked have not had it available? Broadway? Off-broadway? London? Give me a lead...

Don't get your hopes up. The production was the summer musical at the Baton Rouge Theater. Yesterday was its last performance.

I saw it on Broadway about 8 years ago but had terrible seats.

I didn't see the movie version so when the local theater put it on, I got, literally, front row seats, and really enjoyed the production.

Come to Covington and Hammond next month. Onstage at Fuhrmann Auditorium in Covington and Columbia Theatre in Hammond. Guy who played Valjean on Broadway is doing the run in Hammond.

Which one?

There were about 100 different actors who played Jean Valjean on Broadway in its over 7,100 performances there.

Went and saw the Baton Rouge little theatre version of it two weekends ago. Great show. Big fan of Les Mis. It came to New Orleans last fall.
