My sister and brother-in-law were in town from Missouri and leaving today so I decided to cook dinner for them last night.
The menu was French green beans smothered with Rotel tomatoed and chicken andouille(bil supposedly can't eat red meat so I got some chicken andouille from Bailey's in Laplace), smashed new potatoes, corn casserole, homemade rolls(actually a packaged roll mix that I didn't like but everyone else did), grilled pork tenderloin, grilled split Cornish hens, and abt's as an appetizer. Dessert was Apple Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
The corn casserole that my wife made actually. Deeeelicious!!!!! There was none left at the end of the meal.
Oh, I almost forgot about the salad. We did have a Spring Baby Geen salad with Creole tomatoes and a fantastic vinaigrette recipe I got from the local newspaper.
