I think that the bottom line is that he needs to be successful in nipping any disrespect in the bud right here on this show.
How to?
Simply let the nation know, once again, that he doesn't recruit players who have no shot at going into the NFL after a few years. Losing all of the players from last year is just another round of ammo in the Hat's 357 magnum of recruiting artillery.
Nobody in the nation can trump Les at player development right now. The funniest thing about all of that is that with all of the recruiting national championships that Nick gets, Les still developed better NFL talent of late and that is one thing that can easily nip all of the talk about Nick;s dominance in the bud.
I remember the gumps using player development as something that Les was weak at but now isx the time for Les to use it in a big way on this very show. You know that they will ask about all of the losses and Les can simply reply with all of the youngsters that are ready to whup Bama and A+M on the field.
