Has Anyone seen the other movies in The Crow series? I got home from work tonight and on my directTV, they have the salvation, wicked prayer, an city of angels on tonight. What are your thoughts on if it is worth watching these?

Also, a remake is going to film next year if they get through legal trouble.

i'm watching city of angles right now and this movie is one of the worst attempts at a "real" movie that i've ever seen

it's such a ripoff of the original and the direction/acting are pure shite

There is only one "The Crow" film, and even it is a bit overrated.

The original was my favorite movie when i was 14. City of Angels is sort of ok I guess. The rest are complete trash.

i just read on wiki that the original cut of CoA was 160 minutes and the studio cut it down to 84 to make it look more like the original

that requires you to ignore the fact that perez played the crow like a joker character

I watched the last 30 mins of the wicked prayers one. Another Oscar worthy performance of Tara Reid. Lol. Was surprised to the the dude from bones (David B.) in the movie as the main bad guy. Kinda funny actually.

I haven't seen COA in years but I remember not hating it because Hole had a good cover of Gold Dust Woman on the soundtrack and Iggy Pop was in it.

This.
That soundtrack was awesome though.

The Crow was a big movie to me because it was the first movie I saw when I turned 16 and I drove to it. The movie was good but the soundtrack was amazing.

I will give the remake a chance and I will be interested to see how they treat it. I am curious if they will keep it kind of a cult, campy movie or if they will give it a dark action feel.

I was flipping channels last night, and I came across "The Crow: Wicked Prayer." When two of the leads are Edward Furlong (as the fricking Crow) and Tara Reid, it has to be a classic, right? This movie is worth watching just to see David Boreanaz's shirt alone.
