Giygas and Pokey definitely turned the atmosphere of the game 180 degrees at the end of the game.

Many. FF3, Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire II, Harvest Moon, Ogre Battle, FF2, FF: Mystic Quest, and Secret of Mana.
Note: These are for the Wii. Apparently, the WiiU does not have the same library. Odd.

This might push me to buy a wii. Just based on being able to play the old games again. I wasted a many hours plain snes RPGs as a kid. I wouldn't mind a round two

Well yeah, obviously its much cheaper for Earthbound, but its only on the WiiU store. The rest of those RPGs I listed are only on the Wii store.

Ok cool. Forgive my ignorance. I have been out of the video game in loop for a long time and can barely keep up with all the change. I didn't even know what wii u was until I just googled it. And I still don't really get it.
