Because he should've said "I've been working tirelessly with Coach Cam to improve my game and put myself in a position to lead my team as best as I can" or something along those lines. No need to compare your mechanics to any other player. Especially one that has one Heisman and 2 BCS rings

What's the problem? It makes him look like a tool. That's the problem. It would've been one thing if he was like "we'll my mechanics aren't as bad as Stephen Rivers" but no. He picks Tebow. And no matter how correct the statement is, it just didn't need to be said. Bottom line
