does anyone know the last time we held a July camp with no commits? also, the last time we had this few omits in the middle of July! It feels like we could be waiting for all of these kids to pull the trigger and be empty handed come Jan.

Not worried, we will fill the slots. Lot of talent and these upper tier guys are just bidding their time waiting to make a big BOOM on the board when they commit. Think a lot of them know where they want to go but want to play the game and ejoy the notoriety and the process. Why not go for the gusto if you are a high school kid with lots of talent and lots of offers.

Had the kicker commit and Harris is looking like a lock on Thursday. Also Quinn seems like he'll be ready to announce fairly soon also

Poor LSU what will they ever do, I sure hope they can make it to 20 commits this year. Les Miles blows at recruiting nobody wants to go to LSU, shucks.

Anyone who has followed this camp at all knows that it has been tremendously successful. And you don't need a 247 account to figure that out. Forget about commitments in July for a second and appreciate that the staff has put their best foot forward.

I wouldn't trade 4-5 commits on a "normal" July camp any other year for the strong, positive and influential progress we made for our targets this week. When we look back on this time a few years from now, we won't be disappointed like some may be today about the lack of public verbals

I think its because of the talent we're recruiting this year..its not common that a school is expecting 8+ 5*'s with so many offers..if we were offering more 3 and 4*s there would be more early commits..imo
