Wear a fanny pack, especially at night to Arties, etc . It will come in handy to keep all your things and the trinkets people give you.

Also try not to get Vibrio on your wiener like trillhog's friend in that other thread.

That stuff don't wash off.

I might be down there with you boys.

I'm offended I was left out.

Just depends on when we get in from offshore.

And yes. Best place to fish offshore will be southeast. All the way. Mars/ursa/medusa/elf/lump

All stacked. 500 pound yellowfin and mahi every cast.

Do not waste your time in green canyon. No fish there at all ??

Damn Redneck, just got word we won't be able to swing the camp purchase before Aug 1. Going to have to wait until next year to see what the rodeo is all about.

I haven't spoke to a person yet that said they planned on fishing Sat. You fish Thurs-Fri, Sat is for the crab races.

Should be some good fish weighed in. Should be some fine offshore fishing too. Still have a southerly flow the rest of the week. Going to be a great rip come thursday.

heading down there Thursday after lunch. gonna set up in the pass and fish for bull reds while sipping on a few adult beverages. Gonna do the same thing Friday afternoon and again on Saturday. I'm sure we'll be at Arties all 3 nights.

Disturbance 24 is a tropical wave that is emerging off of the Coast of Africa. It is expected to move to the west at about 15 to 20 mph. This motion would take the system toward the islands of the northeast Caribbean in about a week. Yesterday, the models were indicating that the system may develop into a tropical storm as it approaches the Caribbean. Today, the models are less aggressive in terms of development. We are assessing the chance that the system could become a tropical depression or a tropical storm during the next 5 days to be 20 percent. More likely, the system will remain as a disturbance as it moves toward the Caribbean.
