Cranks when idled up. Some times it will run a few seconds and die, other times will die when you idle it backdown.

Bulb stays full.
Unhooked fuel line and pumped some gas through. No trash

Any thoughts?

Ive got a Mercury Optimax 150 that was doing something similar. Idled real rough. I changed the plugs and waterpump but no help. I ran some sea foam through it and after about 30 minutes it was running like a charm. Surprised me how well it worked.

Yea I was wondering about maybe a fouled plug. We took the separator off and emptied it just to be sure. Still no luck

Fresh plugs, clean gas, and seafoam, then run the crap out of it.

you need to decarb the motor with Seafoam. Carbon buildup will reak havoc on a 2 stroke when left unchecked.
Seafoam decarb

After clearing all the carbon/seafoam make sure to put new plugs in.

mine's been acting up lately, I bet seafoam would help. How much seafoam do you put in it, or did they just spray it directly in the carbs?

i get a 1 gallon gas can, pour in entire bottle, run motor for 10 minutes on that mixture. You will probably have to put the motor in neutral and rev it up a little to keep it running on that mixture.
Let it sit for about 45 minutes then crank it back up on the muffs and watch the carbon pour out the prop hub.
