It make me even more proud to be a Saints fan(if that's possible). I spent a total of 8 days in Georgia traveling, and saw a total of 3 Falcons related items. 1 hat, one window sticker on a business, and a bumper sticker. That's all. I live in Houston, and see more Saints stuff in my neighborhood.

You wouldn't really be able to pick out a Falcons fan going through my sister's town Lawrenceville

It was actually quite nice, I was just shocked when I drove through Atlanta and saw no support.

Come on man they have the best fans in the world during the playoffs. You see how packed their stadium gets during the playoffs.

They are saving their fandom for the playoffs

I live in GA. My friends are Saints, Steelers, Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, Skins, and Packer fans. Nary a Falcons fan to be had.

they should be proud of this past year...they won a playoff game before losing...sure pete choked a bit and stole a play from the atlanta playoff script to give them that win. however they all got to cry and celebrate together on the field at home...its not like when the pack came to thier house and they got blanked on O and raped in front of the nation.

Heck, the Braves fans won't sell out Turner until the World Series. But, they were spoiled with being in the postseason every season for a while...

My son sported his Saints decals and license plate holder in Flowery Branch, home of the Falcons training camp.

Then he moved to Charlotte so he could take a turn baiting the Panther fans.

actually I grew up in LA and have spent since 2005 here in GA and I must say, it's a lot nicer than LA. While nothing beats the food in LA or my favorite areas like the Marigny and uptown, the burbs are a hell of a lot nicer and cleaner and there is a lot more to do around here.

We have culture, food, life, personality, and charm, and Atlanta, well it's version of Metairie/Kenner is better than Metairie/Kenner.

I proudly wore my defend team Gleason shirt a couple of times out in public, and never heard a dang thing.

All in all Georgia is a pretty nice state, but yeah, the support for pro teams is not great. Braves get decent support, but the Falcons have never had a large or vocal fanbase.

For those of you who were not around, when the Braves first started having success in the early 1990's the support was incredible. All those years of regular season success and mostly disappointment in the playoffs bled off a lot of the energy.

There are plenty falcons fans, and boy they act entitled...Was pulled over by a cop in an unmarked car because i went around him...He got out to chew me out and was wearing a falcons hat. Then i remembered my saints superbowl plate on the front of the car would have been in his rear view the whole time.

And bama fans er'y where. You'd think it was the state school. Too bad cuz the UGA fans and alum are pretty classy peeps from my experiences.
