I wonder whether the people supporting Hill for his crime and are bitching about his sentence, would feel the same way if an ordinary black male committed the same crime?

He should be off the team for 6 months. If not it will happen again. Great athlete but not much of a person!

"I was in a fraternity, knew people in other fraternities, knew people that worked at bars, and had friends at other schools than LSU. shite happens when you're 18-22."

Exactally...these are not professional corporate adults here, they are kids doing stupid stuff. When I was that age I was all over the place. I wasn't a thug by any means, but I went to bars, got in bar fights, had relations with multiple women...and eventually grew up!

Posted by tigergirl26 on 7/12 at 7:02 pm to dukke v It doesn't matter who he is. He's a STUDENT-athlete. He's just a sophomore in college. We've all done stupid things in our lives regardless. I believe he knows (at least I hope he does) he cannot do anything else again. Sometimes these are the sort of things to help people grow. Sometimes they don't. I won't ridicule a guy for throwing a punch at someone who may or may not have deserve it. Was it dumb? Yes. Now he knows he's on a very VERY short leash. Hopefully he learns from this and won't be so quick to resort to using his fist because someone pisses you off. Let's remember that many of these players are young adults as I am myself. We have ALL made mistakes at some point or another regardless of who we are. Reply • Options • Back to Top • Refresh

If you wanna be technical about it, Mettenberger was at the bar the night Jordan Jefferson beat up Andrew Lowery. I don't think it makes us insane to find forgiveness in situations like this. I think in both situations we have to be conscious that damning one another is not something that they taught us in Sunday School. I'd say forgiveness and turning the other cheek to even the worst of wrong-doers is the right thing to make a habit of doing

What if the solution is for him to realize that potential in NAIA, then the NFL?

I think that, fan loyalties aside, might be seen as reasonable. Mettenberger got kicked off Georgia's team for much, much less than what Hill did.

he's a kid.......kids make mistakes , from what I see in the video it's just a bad decision and a big mistake that hopefully he learns from.....man I did some stupid shite when I was that age that I'm not proud of......but from here on out he needs to grow up and show he's learned from his mistakes......everyone on here has some sort of opinion on how long he should be suspended for , I think clm will make the rite call....he is around him more than us.....

The issue is he's been in trouble previously.

He made a mistake, had another opportunity and fricked up again.

The righteous here would be screaming to fire Les IF Hill were gone and the running game non existent in the fall. Pls STFU and recognize the situation that jocks are big earning employees of the University. Would Saban still shitcan the four criminals on his team if they were starters?

i defended Hill saying this was small potatoes through this whole thing. after watching the video. he is a punk. needs at least a 5 game suspension and i wouldnt be upset if Les had to show him the door.

Lacour's never struck me as the guy who'd begrudge a high school senior for getting a blow job from a freshman.

Hill was origionally charged with oral sexual battery and pleaded down to a misdermeanor of karnal knowledge. Oral sexual battery is a serious offense

Doesn't matter what he was charged with. They will always overcharge if they can.

The plea is the common ground and usually closer to the truth, especially in this situation.

Geez guys, for a bunch of so called LSU fans, y'all are all lost. Haven't any of you learned by now that this has to be Saban'a fault?

Nicky sent two Red Elephant trainees to campus to slip Hill a rowdy mickey and provoke him into a scrap! While one was a starving UFC fighter with absolutely no talent or common sense that Nick new would get his arse kicked, the other was Bama's most promising videographer graduate as is proven by the pathetic quality of the video. My ten year old can shoot better video with a damn trackphone!

When will y'all ever learn? At least you have me here to enlighten you guys. For future reference, It's always Saban's fault and Les is a great X's abd O's guy!
