Deadwood. 6 feet is good, but Deadwood wins this one by a mile IMO

Deadwood. I watched the pilot of 6 and it just didn't connect with me. Deadwood has great atmosphere and characters. Although the dialect is hard to follow at times.

Both are good, but Six Feet Under is the better show IMO. And I love Deadwood. But seasons 1-3, and season 6 of Six Feet Under were superb. Season 4-5 weren't as good IMO.

But you can't go wrong with either show.

if you are a woman: Six Feet Under

Don't listen to these fools

Deadwood is great but will suddenly leave you hanging because there is no ending. And there's only two words of dialogue in the whole series. It gets annoying. Saying "cocksucker" 100 times per episode gets old quick.

Six Feet Under takes a little time to develop, but it blows Deadwood out. The writing and acting are some of the best in television history. It's depressing but it's a great ride through 5 seasons. The homo stuff is hard to stomach but luckily they tone it down after season 1.

And with Six Feet Under, you will be treated to the greatest finale and greatest final scene that has ever been filmed. It's incredible.

Why do people say this?

It has a clear ending. It ended quickly but given the show is somewhat historical it is not like they could have won against Hearst.

Given that the show was cancelled I think the ending was solid.

The only bad thing about season 3 was the insufferable acting troupe although Langrishe has grown on me a bit.

Also not enough Cochran and when we get him, all he does is cough.

People that disagree suck cock willingly.

On a side note, I just finished a rewatch I started last weekend.

HELL, you say! Some harder shite to handle later on, IMO!

Yeah, both are good, but the episodes with Lisa left a bad taste in my mouth. Hated that bitch from the get-go. The writing is very good in both, but I found SFU to drag more later on...but the stories had a sharp impact.

Deadwood was fricking well-written, well acted fun drama. Liked it when Brian Cox was with Swearington, but I deplored the scenes with the acting troupe. Took too much time away from the main characters.

The iambic pentameter of a lot of the dialogue, on the other hand, was beautiful and well executed.

Gun to my head, I'd say Six Feet Under. They're neck and neck, though, and each is among the best shows ever put on television.

Deadwood but I never seen six feet under. Plus deadwood has U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. Bad mofo in deadwood and Kentucky. But is you like your women on the hair free side then deadwood ain't for you. There's some very hairy bushes here. I am still disappoint they never finished it.
