Bullpup rifles, anyone own one?

They seem to be a bit on the expensive side from what little I've gathered but it's one type of weapon that I've always wanted to fire and still never have. The Tavor has recently been added to the US market.
It's a design that's always made a great deal of sense to me and seems like a natural evolution in rifle design assuming the ergonomics work, which they seem to since several prominent nations have opted for them. Anyone with any experience with bullpups? Pros/cons?

Have not shot one although I do find them interesting. You can find kits to turn common rifles into bull pup design like 10/22 and the mini 14. Don't quote me I'm hammered....

4:55am. "I'm hammered"
Solid performance. Go ahead and call it a night.

I have shot a few.
Pros:
Short OAL
Maneuverable
Center of gravity close to your body
Cons:
Availability
Price
Mag Availability
Trigger
Chamber under your cheek is concern, for me anyway
Optics usually mount really high over the bore
Check out the MSAR.

I have always wanted a Steyr AUG.

The only bullpup (other than maybe the mythical G11) that held any attraction for me.

EXACTLY. It is the quintessential gun for villains. The Governor was rocking an AUG on The Walking Dead this past season.

Pros and cons but I think the cons outweigh the pros when compared to something like the AR platform. Especially with respect to reloading where you have to reach under and across your body to hit the magazine release which is usually behind the magazine (AUG/MSAR). Basically makes it somewhat more difficult to change mags quickly since you are forced to use one hand to operate the release and swap mags.

One of my favorite guns for "Call of Duty, Zombies."

Except he was shooting it like a douche from his hip. No wonder he couldn't hit anything.
My favorite bullpup is probably the Keltec RFB. For a 308 rifle, it balances extremely well compared to other front-heavy 308s.

I think the AUG looks like a paintball gun
My fave is the Tavor. P90 looks cool but needs a better caliber association

I can see the mag changing being tricky to get used to, which is one reason I'd really like to handle one myself. I have heard many people say that it just takes some getting used to and really isn't much of an issue once you are accustomed to it. The Tavor, for example, has the magazine release in front of the magazine.
The trigger on the AUG has always looked like it would have an awful pull to me.
I'd never buy one over an AR with the current price differential alone, but I'm wondering if it isn't a more ideal weapon in a direct comparison.
Is it comfortable, stable, steady, accurate, etc. The notion of having a full length barrel on a weapon that is at minimum the same length as an AR carbine is certainly something that is appealing.
Is there anywhere in the BR area that rents any bullpups maybe?

Doubt it.
Bullpups are pretty expensive as mentioned earlier. Most rentals at the range are sub-$1000 and are very common (Glock, Ruger, S&W686, etc).
