Trade for a ball-dominant guard who can't shoot? Why?

Why don't you like Vazquez AD? Is this why you were unhappy on draft night? You wanted Grevis gone!

I love the trade on draft night... Vasquez obviously has to go we have a logjam at pg and Evans is still very young and can shoot.

So you wouldn't prefer depth at the PG position like we have at PF? I like the idea of Vasquez coming off the bench to let jrue get some rest and the offense can still be run coherently.

Evans cost much more than Vasquez team friendly deal

You only get Evans if you're moving Gordon. Evans isnt a 3 and needs the ball too much to work with Holiday and Gordon.

Even if you are moving Gordon, OJ Mayo will be cheaper than Evans, leaving more room for help at the 3 or the 5

This is pure speculation and makes no sense at all.

Evans makes 0 sense at SG or SF for us. He can't shoot. And is ball dominant.

This will not happen.

what don't people get? Dell is not getting rid of gravy. Why would he even bring up the point that gravy can play 1,2,&3?

Because someone is going to have to guard 6'8 wing scorers in the fourth quarter. Pelicans going to rely on Vasquez to do that?

no, pelicans have never relied on gravy to play any defense at any position. He will be a facilitating and scoring 3 like he was at pg. It works.

since every NBA starter plays great defense and all... Dude, it amounts to what the pels can get for GV vs. What he brings to this team. Like last season showed us, he brings more than his defensive liability takes away.

with the 3 guard line-up, we will drill and finesse teams. If gv is giving up too much, that's what aminu is for.

So the plan is if GV isn't up to the challenge then they will bring in Aminu? Well that puts all my worries away.

GV could definitely play the 2 as well so I really see no reason to let him go. He provides really good depth especially with how fragile EG has, been.

Evans numbers have declined every year since he has been in the NBA. Do not want

He's coming off arguably his best season as a pro. A decline in numbers is a good thing for him. He loved to shoot and wasn't good at.

I know. The only thing that separates them is Iggy's defense.

What's the rap on Tyreke's D?
