All of this trading immediately after drafts is dumb for the most part.
One guy is usually fleecing the other because they are panicking.
Let the rest of the preseason shake out and see who gets dropped/added before making a quick, rash decision.

I want to add a defense but RT won't allow me to do an add/drop unless I pick up both a D/ST and K. I don't have a 2nd player I want to drop yet.

I disagree with all of that. If it were a snake draft I would be with you. Auctions aren't as easy to predict and teams may end up completely different than expected. Now you have a chance to form your team the way you want it if you aren't happy with the results.

It's true whether you're in an auction or draft.
..and making contact so soon after a draft (either type) just tells the other owner that you will probably give up more than normal to get a certain player.

certainly don't agree with that, either.
After last Sunday's auction, I felt I was a tad weak at WR and wanted to get a top-25 guy at that position while not hurting myself at RB - which I felt I was very strong at.
I felt I accomplished what I wanted to do successfully.
