Who will be the bigger asset to the team this year? I still have high hopes for Rivers but will he improve his indecisiveness and lack of a left this offseason. This pick has a 1/5 shot at being an opening day starter while rivers will have to be a 7th man at most.

I don't think there's any way to predict that, especially without knowing the pick. I have high hopes AR comes back with a vengeance and I think he will be a good combo guard for a long time.

Rivers is going to be ballin next season, which is why I don't want a pg. Once he learns which decisions to make right when hr catchrs the ball, we'll be goood

That shouldn't stop us from getting a PG. I don't think GV will be around for the long term plus Austin is more of a combo guard. A back court of a healthy EG, GV, AR, and CJM would be able to score and have some versatility.

If Rivers can't shoot the 3 more consistently and can't shoot a much higher percentage at the free throw line then I just don't think he will be much of an asset. He has proved that he can get to the rim, but needs to work on his finishing which I believe can be done because he has the intangibles and work ethic to do so.

I'm more concerned about the FT% than anything. That was hard to watch last season. He can be a pretty good player without being a very good 3 pt shooter.

If he can't shoot better from the outside then the defenders will just sit back and wait for him to drive.

how thr frick do you people say rivers is too much of a combo guard and turn around to say cj is a perfect point. Did you watch him in college. Anyway ive made up my mind that I prefer burke. Burke measures up more like Lillard

Uh, I didn't say that. I said those 4 in the back court would give us flexibility because of their versatility, obviously acknowledging CJM is a combo guard as well.
