Somebody talk me into going to see him live tonight. He's playing with Lucero. I've listened to some of his stuff and I like Mutt. I'm trying to talk myself into getting out of the house and also trying to talk some friends into meeting me.

My favorite songwriter. He will blow you away live.

i've tried, just can't get into him. never seen him live though.
Lucero on the other hand is one of the best live bands you'll ever see.

there are a lot of live shows floating around with CB and ben nichols (of lucero)
ive seen both solo, as well as lucero full band and would highly recommend

I really like it and have been a fan since I heard Crush about a decade back... Ive only seen him once, at the Maple Leaf a few years back where him and Ben Nichols just traded songs...
That said, my friend that was with me, while he didnt hate him, found him a bit corny and his phrasing a bit over the top... I can see that, but I liked it!
