Anyone have a Minn Kota Riptide ST Saltwater i-Pilot?

Having some issues with mine, wondering if anyone else has had problems with theirs? The remote will not learn to the trolling motor, it turns off after 5 seconds. I changed the battery to the remote, still the same. The trolling motor is supposed to beep when you press the learn button and it doesn't. If you check the battery gauge, it goes to full strength. I hope i don't have to bring it to a repair shop.
