Vets of the OB, I have a question

I have a 3/4 English Mastiff 1/4 Black Mouth Cur. Year old but ~100lbs. She just got bit on the tongue by a baby nutria. 2 questions. Will she be ok? I'm thinking her large size will help if it was carrying diseases. Number 2. If I put a very small amount of homemade moonshine in her water bowl to act as an antiseptic, will that help stave off any infection? She does have a bruise but I cleaned out the blood from her mouth. It's not 200 proof but probably around 140 after fruit and cinammon stick.

Is she vaccinated for rabies?
If not, it's a big deal. She needs anti-biotics and a vaccination for lepto.
If the bleeding stops, bring the dog tomorrow. If not, then bring it to the vet tonight.

Look, I'm just going based off of what Dr. Net says.
She read some books at one point about animals. Seemed legit.

Paging cootkilla.
On a serious note, the pup will be fine.

I'd still go for anti-biotics tomorrow.
Gonna be about $50, depending on where ya go.
It could abscess and slough off. That's a worst case scenario. It'll probably get a fever and bacterial infection without them for sure.

So in the future will your dog continue to lick nutria?
Or tear them up and eat them thus saving the coast and being an upstanding canine member of the OB?

You got any antibiotics you didn't finish like amoxicillin or augmenting amox/clav hit him with a dose tonight the diluted alchol won't do much but sting and make him not want to drink.

That reminds me of the time I was squirrel hunting with my grandfather and a squirrel grabbed his dog by the lip. That little tree rat wouldn't let go, and that dog took off sprinting through the woods. Grandpa shot at the dog at least once. A couple years later I was talking to him about that day and if he was shooting at the dog or the squirrel. He said "both I reckon."
